Privacy Notice

Propraat is owned and operated by Jirah Designs (Pty) Ltd. This notice explains how information is used when you use Propraat, create an account, make a Family purchase or send a school enquiry.

Information used to provide Propraat

When a parent or guardian creates an account, Propraat uses the account information provided, including a display name and email address. A purchase email address is used to prepare a Family checkout and to help connect a confirmed purchase with account setup.

For a household learner, Propraat uses the information entered by the authorised parent or guardian, including the learner's name, grade, age band, school name and province. It also uses programme enrolment and lesson-progress information to provide the learning experience.

Propraat uses authentication and session information to help secure access to accounts and learner areas. It uses information submitted in the school enquiry form, including contact, school and learner-number details, to respond to the enquiry.

Payments and service providers

Family payments are processed through Yoco. Propraat sends the purchaser to Yoco's checkout and does not state that it stores card details. Propraat uses service providers that process information needed to operate the service, including Supabase for application data and account services, and Resend for service emails such as confirmed-purchase onboarding and school-enquiry delivery.

Why information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, provide paid programme access, support learners, process and confirm purchases, send service communications, respond to school enquiries and maintain the operation of Propraat.

Children and parent or guardian authority

Propraat is designed for children. A parent or guardian must confirm that they are authorised to add a learner to a household. Propraat does not record learner speech, use speech recognition, or upload a child's spoken practice.

Security and your questions

Propraat uses authenticated account and session controls and keeps service credentials on the server. No online service can promise absolute security. You may contact info@propraat.com with questions or to ask about access to, correction of or deletion of your information. Propraat may need to verify the request before responding.

We may update this notice when the service or its information practices change.
