The lesson structure follows CAPS for isiZulu First Additional Language, with guided practice that also supports children in IEB schools. Propraat's isiZulu learner journey includes short lessons and units. Children can work through lessons in order, return to practise and celebrate each completed lesson with Sammy.
Two optional Clear the Board games offer extra listening practice. Game 1 is suggested after Unit 3 and Game 2 after Unit 5.
